Boltongate Old Rectory won "Bed and Breakfast of the Year 2007" in both Cumbria Tourism and England's Northwest Tourism Awards and is a Silver winner in the Enjoy England for Excellence Awards 2008.

Dating from 1360 with later additions in the seventeenth century and again in Victorian times.
